1On the Way To Las VegasAt the end of June, 2001, Deni and I got married in Las Vegas. We had planned on doing this for about a year, and since moving to San Francisco at the beginning of the year, we were looking forward to seeing all of our friends and family.

About a month before the wedding I had surgery to remove a malignant melanoma and a bucket of lymph nodes, so in these picutres I was freshly scarred and still in the first phase of my recovery.

Another fun fact about this trip is that Deni was a few weeks pregnant with Madison. We found out on Mother's Day, so although may have seemed like a shotgun wedding, we had it all planned out far in advance.

Here's we are on the plane, heading off to Las Vegas Nevada to get married.
