I should have been alerted when my 6�, 170lbs. husband dropped 40 pounds in a month. Nope! Not me. When I first heard the word CANCER, I imagined how I was going to shimmy up the protective netting on the Golden Gate. At that point, I hadn�t said anything, but I knew a baby was with me � no tests, no doctors � just a sense of life.
So, I decided to believe � nothing bad could happen � we were about to be parents�
I could see the fear in his sweet eyes. He told me he was sorry. I remember my eyes stinging, swallowing my tears, shaking my head �no�. I simply said, �This is not going to happen.�.
