Nope, I didn't watch it. But even without seeing it, here's what I can say - we all know that he's an oddball. So what's the point? At one time he was a truly great entertainer. He suffered years of abuse as a child and never really had a real childhood. There are some deep emotional scars there. Do we really need to constantly pick on him? I don't think so. I mean, I'm not a big fan or anything - I like the old stuff, Off the Wall, some of the Thriller tunes - it's just like when you're somewhere and a big guy is picking on a little guy for no apparent reason. It's just like, "Okay, buddy, we get it, you're a tough guy, he's not. Real cool. Move along." Same deal. Move along.

Still looking for a job. Interviewed at the AIU for their Web Services department the other day. Seems like a nice place. They're doing a ton more interviews, so I probably won't hear anything for a bit, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Candle party this weekend. Woo. That's about all I got for that topic.

Got my little VW serviced last week. I hadn't really had it in for a good repair since right before we moved to San Francisco, so it was way overdue. Also, in order to get the PA registration done, it needed to pass inspection. So, $900 later, everything's fine and I'm legal again. I'd complain about the cost, but I guess that's not too bad considering we drove it across the country in the middle of winter. Oh, and we put it through hell on the hills of SF. Big surprise that I needed new brakes. Ha ha.

Deni has once again changed jobs and is now working at an Alternative High School. She just can't get enough of those sweet little criminals. Seriously, though, this is more in line with the kind of stuff she likes to teach and the kind of programs she's interested in doing, so it's a good move. Oh, yeah, another bonus is that once the health insurance kicks in, it's UPMC. That's great, since all of my cancer doctors are part of UPMC. Yes, I still see those guys, and everything's going fine.

Here's the latest on the big Nixon Clocks show.... I don't have confirmation of all the details yet, but the show is March 21st at Rosebud. There are going to be about 14 bands performing, 3 of which I played in at some point or another. I'll only be playing in the Clox that night, as far as I know. Here's who ya get: The Afforable Floors, The Dharma Sons, Gathering Field, Shonuff, Cat Ballou, The Buzz Poets, and a bunch more.
